Daniel has loved pond building & Koi Carp his whole life, working with his Grandad on ponds as a child in Bedfordshire.  He fell in love with the tranquility that ecosystem ponds bring to any garden and pursued his love of creating ecosystem ponds as a career.  

Daniel founded Brit Ponds in 2019 with his wife Sarah.  He trained in the US at the Aquascape Inc. 'Aquascape University' in Chicago Illinois, to Certified Aquascape Contractor status, with "The Pond Guy" Greg Whitstock, Aquascape Inc. Founder.  Afterwards, he worked with award winning, UK Pond expert Mark Wilson "The Pond Advisor" at Any Ponds Ltd and at their Pond College UK in Northampton.  

Daniel's professional certification status progressed rapidly to Master Certified Aquascape Contractor, which he continues to retain year on year.  With his natural creative talent, Daniel takes his aquatic art seriously.  The detail matters in Daniel's pond craft, from the placing of every rock by hand, to the choice and positioning of each aquatic plant or decorative natural tree stump and it shows in the quality of his work for clients. 

Daniel cares about his ecosystem water feature designs for customers, and focuses on creating beautiful natural looking water features for them to enjoy.  The artistic use of forest & tree inspired elements in his aquatic work comes naturally to Daniel living close to a National Trust forest, and is a signature touch.  Daniel has become a well known specialist aquatic artist for his beautiful Japanese Water Garden designs in London, UK.

When  not creating or pottering around water features, he can be found relaxing by his own ecosystem ponds at home with his Koi carp, his family and his beloved dogs for company.
