CASE STUDY
The Lake House
- Chearsley, Oxfordshire AONB
Bespoke large wetland filter with stepping stones, bog garden, large intake bay, external pump house and two large natural streams & waterfalls with aquatic planting design
Location: Chearsley, Oxfordshire AONB
Project Type: Natural Swim Lake Renovation
One of our most iconic water feature projects, our client’s Estate in the AONB Oxfordshire countryside already had a beautiful natural swimming lake.
Working alongside award winning garden designers, we were tasked to design & create a naturalistic addition to his beautifully landscaped estate lake and Lake House.
We were given free reign to design & create a large wetland filter and streams sitting seamlessly alongside the lake to include feature stepping stones. A bog garden was created within the existing lake body.
An intake bay was also created at the opposite end to the wetland filter where the water is drawn across the lake to aid its filtration, drawing it up to the wetland filter where is is filtered and circulated back into the lake in a continuous circular motion.
Discretion and our client’s privacy were key here to customer service.
