While both use natural biological balances rather than harsh chemicals, a dedicated koi pond requires deeper excavation and upgraded, high-volume biological filtration to handle the higher nutrient load that mature koi produce.

Do you also offer ongoing koi pond maintenance?
Yes we do. As part of our annual pond maintenance packages we cover koi ponds, ensuring koi are carefully retained in koi vats for the duration of the service visit.
Do you help with sourcing koi carp for our koi pond?
Yes we do! We offer a private koi buying excursion to our trusted and experienced koi suppliers and return to your garden pond for supervised release. We also often advise on koi care and wellbeing. This specialist service is available to our clients by prior appointment.
