Ecosystem ponds are excavated with shelves, EPDM pond liner, Geotextile fleece, gravel, rock and aquatic planting that help with  the natural pond filtration work alongside the biofalls filter (2).

Pondles waterfalls operate without a deep body of water but with an underground basin of water feeding the  streams & series of waterfalls cascading back into the basin and recirculating.  

Spillway bowls and fountainscapes are a stand alone water feature.  Water falls from the top bowl into the bottom bowl disappearing into an aqua basin, which holds water and the pump.  The pump feeds the water back up to the top bowl to recirculate.
